The Greater Boston area is known for many things — world-class schools, amazing seafood, historical attractions, but not mild winters. Still, if you’re in a home with a well-functioning boiler system, you have some of the coziest, most comfortable heating around.
Boiler heating is a great solution here in Massachusetts. And Evolved Mechanical has accumulated years of experience installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing the boilers that our customers rely on during the cold winters.
There’s a misconception that boilers are an obsolete (or at least old-fashioned) heating option, but they have fantastic benefits for homes in our region. Since boilers use water, not air, they don’t circulate dust and allergens throughout your house. They are also quieter, as you don’t have the sound of air being forced through ducts while the heat is on. Boilers are ideal for homes without ductwork, including the historic structures in our part of New England.
That being said, boilers also tend to be more complex to install. It’s important to have a trustworthy firm like Evolved Mechanical to do the job right and with minimal disruption to your life. We even offer competitive financing terms and can help you qualify for rebates, tax credits and other financial incentives.
These days, most boilers do not actually boil water. Like a water heater, boilers use heat energy — usually generated by natural gas, propane or heating oil — to heat water. That water is sent through pipes around your home and into radiators, baseboard heaters or other radiant heating systems.
This heat tends to be slightly humid, making your home feel warmer. And today’s boilers are more efficient than ever before. When you come to Evolved Mechanical, we’ll help you identify the best state-of-the-art boiler to keep your home comfortable and lower your energy spending.
Evolved Mechanical technicians are at the top of their trade. You can count on them to install your new boiler promptly and ensure that it’s running perfectly before they leave your home — making sure things are as clean as they found them.
